Zombie recipe — The rum apocalypse that'll leave you shuffling home with zero memories and maximum regret. Made with rum. Originally from United States.
I'm the friend who seems fun at first but absolutely cannot be trusted. Three rums wasn't enough for me, so I added fruit juice to disguise my strength and trick you into thinking I'm harmless. I've ended more nights than a curfew bell.
The original Zombie recipe was so potent that Don the Beachcomber's restaurant limited customers to only two per person. The recipe was also kept so secret that even the bartenders didn't know the full formula - they mixed pre-made rum blends labeled only as 'Don's Mix #1' and 'Don's Mix #2'.
Created by Donn Beach at Don the Beachcomber in 1934, allegedly for a hungover customer who needed something to get through a business meeting. The customer returned days later claiming the drink had turned him into a zombie for his entire trip to Tahiti.
