Piña Colada Recipe

Piña Colada recipe — On vacation permanently. Will not apologize. Made with rum. Originally from Puerto Rico.

Refuses to be serious. Life is a beach and this drink knows it. The most unapologetically fun drink in existence.

The piña colada is the official drink of Puerto Rico.

Ingredients

• 2 oz White rum (Bacardi or similar)
• 2 oz Coconut cream (not coconut milk — cream is richer)
• 4 oz Fresh pineapple juice (or canned, unsweetened)
• 1 cup Ice (for blending)
• 1 Pineapple slice (garnish)
• 1 Maraschino cherry (garnish)

Instructions

1. Add rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice and ice to a blender.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy. About 30 seconds.
3. Pour into a hurricane glass or large wine glass.
4. Garnish with pineapple slice and cherry. Serve immediately with a straw.
