Lavender Lemonade Recipe

Lavender Lemonade recipe — The zen master of refreshment — floral, tart, and impossibly photogenic. Made with none. Originally from France.

I'm that friend who does morning yoga and actually enjoys it. I smell like a French countryside and taste like summer nostalgia with a sophisticated twist. I'm calming enough for your anxiety but interesting enough for your Instagram feed.

Lavender was so prized in ancient Rome that it cost more than a month's wages for a laborer. Romans believed it could cure everything from headaches to heartbreak, leading to the phrase 'lavare' (to wash) which gave lavender its name.

Born in the lavender fields of Provence where farmers' wives would mix dried lavender with lemon juice and honey to create refreshing drinks for harvest workers. The combination became a local specialty served at village festivals.
