Corpse Reviver No 2 Recipe

Corpse Reviver No 2 recipe — The overachiever who actually can bring you back from the dead (or at least Sunday). Made with gin. Originally from United Kingdom.

I'm that friend who shows up perfectly dressed to your hangover brunch with a mysterious cure-all remedy and zero judgment. Equal parts sophisticated and scandalous, I've been solving morning-after problems since your great-grandfather was young. Trust me, I've seen worse.

The Corpse Reviver family originally had five numbered recipes, but No. 2 became so popular that bartenders forgot the others existed. The original recipes were published in Harry Craddock's 1930 Savoy Cocktail Book with the warning to 'be taken before 11 a.m., or whenever steam and energy are needed.'

Created at London's Savoy Hotel in the 1930s by legendary bartender Harry Craddock. Part of a series of 'medicinal' cocktails designed to cure hangovers, it quickly became the star of the Corpse Reviver family and a favorite among the literary elite.
